Step-by-Step Procedures

Turn off Xbox if it is turned on, unplug Xbox 360 console, connect the Xbox video plug which came with the console into the Xbox 360 (either the single yellow cord or the red, blue, and green cords). If video cords are already plugged in unplug the red and white audio cords. There is a Toslink jack connected at the back of the Xbox 360, connect one end of the Toslink cable to the Xbox 360 console and the other end to the audio input on your sound system receiver, plug your Xbox 360 console back into the outlet. Turn on your Xbox 360 then switch your receiver to the digital audio source.
